Norwich is the most complete medieval city in Britain, from the splendour of its cathedral and castle to charming Elm Hill with its timbered houses.

DAY ONE

Depart from your home pick-up and travel to Norfolk stopping for lunch enroute, arriving at your hotel late afternoon, leaving time to relax before dinner.

DAY TWO

Our day begins with a visit to the historic town of Aylsham where we join the narrow gauge steam train through the Bure Valley to Wroxham where we explore the beautiful Norfolk Broads from the comfort of our boat, as we cruise enjoy an entertaining commentary.

DAY THREE

This morning we visit Swaffam one of the locations for the fictional town in TV's 'Kingdom' series, it boasts a market place surrounded by exceptional Georgian architecture. We continue onto Thursford where we visit the musical museum that houses majestic mechanical organs, wurlitzers, carousels with live performances. Later we join the North Norfolk Railway at Holt for a train ride to Sheringham.

DAY FOUR

A day in Norwich, we will meet our local guide for a tour of the city. Norwich is the most complete medieval city in Britain with a magnificent cathedral, Norman Castle, ancient pub, cobbled streets and medieval lanes. Remainder of your day at leisure in Norwich.

This morning we bid farewell and begin our journey home arriving early evening.
