Our city guide will meet you at our hotel for a walking tour of the city. After lunch enjoy a relaxing river cruise as it winds its way around this beautiful and attractive city, followed by a visit to one of the cities hidden gems 'Crook Hall Gardens' from which there are fine views of the city.

Our journey today takes us into Weardale and Museum, here we join the Weardale Railway for a delightful ride into the Dales to Stanhope then onto Derwent Water and Blanchland in upper Derwent Valley. Built from the remains of a 12th century the village retains a special atmosphere.

We follow in the footsteps of one of the great explorers Captain James Cook, our tour starts at the Victorian Spa town of Saltburn on Sea, then into the Cleveland Hills to Guisborough and Great Ayton, where the young Captain Cook went to school and finally visit the award winning Hartlepool Maritime Experience.

Our return journey takes us into the Yorkshire Dales, we visit Richmond and Kettlewell in Wharfedale before continuing home.
